Are you ready to discover the fastest most delicious butter tart recipe you will ever encounter? Well we have found it! This recipe is a great last-minute dessert that is guarenteed to be loved by all. This recipe is enough to satisfy your sweet tooth and leave you begging for more! 

A Quick Way to Butter You Up

Butter Tarts
This is, by far, the easiest, quickest and most delicous butter tart recipe you will ever taste! Challenge us, we dare you! In this recipe, you could add a roasted pecan on top of the butter tart (after it is baked and cooled) for a nice crisp crunch! We want to make it clear that when making butter tarts, you DO NOT, repeat DO NOT have to bake the shells before hand. Just pour the batter in the tart shells (pre-bought), throw them in the oven and your good to go! We are positive that they will disapper VERY quickly!
INGREDIENTS

1/2 cup packed brown sugar
1/4 cup corn syrup
1 egg
1 tablespoon butter, melted
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 tablespoon vinegar
Pre-bought tart shells (usually come in package of 12)

DIRECTIONS

1. In a bowl, whisk together brown sugar, corn syrup, egg, butter, vanilla and vinegar; whisk vigorously.
2. Stir in currants. Spoon into pastry-lined tart shells, filling three-quarters full.
3. Bake at 350 F oven for 15-20 minutes or until filling is puffed and bubbly and pastry is lightly golden.
4. Let cool on racks.
MAKES ABOUT 12 TARTS
